Father's Day Card

Sorry, I've been lazy and haven't posted for a long time. I'm trying to be better. Here's a Father's Day card a few of us made on Sunday afternoon. The supplies used are as follows:

SU Brocade Blue cardstock (4 1/4" x 5 1/2")
Designer Paper (Costco)
- short narrow piece (1 1/2" x 2 1/4")
- short wide piece (2 3/8" x 2 1/4")
- long narrow piece (1 1/2" x 2 7/8")
- long wide piece (2 3/8" x 2 7/8")
SU Cranberry or Bravo Burgandy cardstock (2 1/2" x 4 1/8")
SU Night of Navy cardstock (2 5/8" x 4 1/4")
SU Whisper White cardstock (2" x 2 1/4")
SU Brocade Blue, Bravo Burgandy, and Night of Navy markers (coloured onto the rubber stamp, "huffed", and then stamped)
Blue ribbon from SU Jersey ribbon pack
Mat pack
Cutter pack
Sponge
SU Night of Navy classic ink
1/8" punch
Brads
Dimensionals

This card is pretty basic. I distressed all the edges of the designer paper pieces and then sponged them with night of navy ink. I layer them onto the card back, 1/8" apart. The cranberry/bravo burgandy is layered onto the night of navy piece and then positioned the white stamped piece at the top (all cut to the dimensions above). The ribbon is wrapped just around the edges of this piece and taped at the back. I used the mat pack to space the brads and then punched through all layers with the 1/8" punch. The finished "image" piece is mounted on top of the designer paper using dimentionals.

Enjoy!
